The Capricorn District Municipality Municipal Public Account Committee (MPAC)Β question the 2017/2018 Mid-Year Organisational Performance Report in a public hearing session. The MPAC Public Hearing session held today, 09 March 2018 at the CDM Council Chamber has been chaired by the MPAC Chairperson Cllr Paulina Makgato. Β Β
The public hearing sessionΒ has beenΒ held in terms of Section 44 of the Municipal Systems Act No. 32 of 2000. The MPAC interrogate management on the performance as per the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan in particular focusing on the targets set, the budget allocated and actual performance as at mid-year.
The MPAC derived questions from the 2017/2018 Mid-Years Performance Report presented to Council of 30 January 2018. The questions were submitted to the municipal manager Ms Nokuthula Mazibuko for response in line with the review of the 2017/2018 Mid-Year Performance Report. The municipal manager and her executive management team were then afforded an opportunity during the public hearing to respond to the questions raised by the MPAC.
