The CDM team is at Senwabarwana shopping centre in Blouberg Local Municipality today on an activation drive to encourage residents to register for the upcoming CDM 4-in-1 Marathon – a Comrades Qualifier, that will take place on 25 February 2023 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium at 06:00.
This is part of the district wide activation plan aimed at encouraging more people to book their place in the race by assisting them with online registration. This campaign is led by MMC for Sport, Arts and Culture Cllr Hilda Makhura and MMC for Community Services Cllr Elizabeth Rahlana.
The activation will continue in other areas as follows –
1) Botlokwa shopping center in Molemole Local Municipality on Friday 17 February,
2) Moletlane Complex (ZB) and Mall@Lebo (Lebowakgomo) on 18 February in Lepelle Nkumpi Local Municipality,
3) Tibane Mall and Seshego Circle Centre on 20 February,
4) Paledi Mall (Mankweng) on 21 February.
If you live in these areas, look for a CDM gazebo on the above dates to register. Alternatively, you can simply register from anywhere by visiting www.peaktiming.co.za.
