Member of the Mayoral Commitee, Cllr Matome Masoga joined the Deputy Minister in the Presidency Ms Thembi Siweya to officially unveil state of the art digital studio for Zebediela Community Radio Station at ZB Moshate, Moletlane in Lepelle Nkumpi Local Municipality.The unveiling that took place on 18 February 2023, coincided with the Station’s celebration of 24 years of broadcasting. The new digital studio is funded by Media Diversity Development Agency (MDDA) to the tune of R2, 5 million. Siweya appealed to the community to take care of the equipment as an asset that belongs to them.
“The Station must ensure there is good governance and comply with the ICASA license conditions,” said Prof Hlengani Mathebula, MDDA Board Chairperson.
