CDM led by the Acting Executive Mayor MMC for SEMS, Cllr. Solly Mahlatji, joined the Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Solly Malatsi and Acting Premier Basikopo Makamu, for the launch of Broadband and Digital Skills for Municipalities. The launch was held at the Ranch Resort in Polokwane on 03 September 2024.This initiative aims to equip local government councillors with essential digital skills and help them become digitally empowered. It will further ensure that they reach the desired state where municipalities will leverage digital platforms, enhance service delivery and enhance community engagement.
“It Is indeed a pleasure to have this opportunity to discuss digital skills. Thank you for choosing Limpopo. This launch will engage the minds of the councillors, let’s take advantage of this progressive program.” MMC Solly Mahlatji said as he gave a vote of thanks.
