At Ga-Molapo Community Hall in Zebediela, the Capricorn District Municipality, as part of Batho Pele, joined the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) on an Integrated Community Registration Outreach Programme (ICROP).The campaign was aimed at improving access to social security and other government services by bringing them directly to the community. Multiple stakeholders, including Home Affairs, Eskom, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), and the Community Police Forum, collaborated to provide residents with convenient, one-stop access to essential services.
The initiative reduced travel costs and barriers, demonstrating a unified effort to enhance social welfare and community development in the Capricorn District. The campaign took place on 27 May 2025.
