The Acting Executive Mayor of the day Cllr. Maite Mohale met the community of Indermark on 01 September 2023, to hand over the Indermark Water Supply project to the community. The project amount is approximately R8m.Construction work on the project commenced 01 September 2023 and is expected to be complete by 01 March 2024.
The scope of work for the project includes construction of 200kl elevated steel tank for Indermark E, Construction of approximately 700m of bulk pipeline for Indemark B and E, Construction of approximately 6 500m of reticulation for Indermark B, C, D and E. Construction of twenty-five standpipes for Indermark B, Fifteen standpipes for Indermark C, Fifteen standpipes for Indermark D, Ten standpipes for Indermark E and fencing of 200kl elevated steel tank.
Acting Mayor appealed for all stakeholders to work together to ensure the project is completed on time.
