“Heritage is the foundation of our being. We have to preserve it”, said Chief Whip Cllr Matome Masoga during the Heritage Celebration and Covid-19 Awareness Campaign. The campaign took place at Ga-Ledwaba Moshate in Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality.
“We are very delighted to host the campaign here at Ga-Ledwaba. We also thank the municipality for including vaccination drive in this program, making it easy for us to get the jab right on our doorstep”, said Lesiba Ledwaba giving words of appreciation.
The municipality, through disaster management also donated trees to Moshate as part of celebrating Arbor Month. Heritage Celebration was held under the theme “Traditional Culture and Customs as a vehicle to combat the spread of Covid-19”.
