FIRST AID TRAINING FOR EDUCATORS

Capricorn District Municipality and the South African Red Cross Society in Limpopo conducted training on First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety, for School Educators from various schools in the district.
The purpose of the training was to promote disaster risk reduction and sustainable development in schools and communities at large. The fifteen Educators were from eight schools in the district that participated in the 2024 District Disaster Risk Management School competition.
The training was one of the commitments that the municipality made to continuously provide support to the schools following the school competition. The First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety training was held from 30 to 31 May 2024, at Polokwane Auditorium, in Polokwane Local Municipality. The educators walked away with their personal First Aid Kits, and First Aid Kits for the school.
