CDM joins the country in commemorating #WomensDay, an important Day on our calendar which presents a significant opportunity for us to reflect on and appreciate the role of women in every sphere of life.It’s also a reminder of the progress we’ve made, but also a call to action for the work that still lies ahead in increasing access to socio-economic opportunities for women and fighting many gender struggles that women contend with on a daily basis. We therefore call on all women to continue standing together, stand up to patriarchy, challenge the stereotypes and gender biases, and create a society where every woman’s potential is recognized, supported, and nurtured.
As we commemorate this Day, let’s commit ourselves to empowering women, supporting their dreams, and ensuring they have equal opportunities in all aspects of life.
