Capricorn District Municipality held a Women in Business Seminar on Thursday, 08 August 2024 at The Part Inn Hotel in Polokwane. The seminar was aimed at empowering women. Speakers at the seminar spoke about issues such as women in construction, opportunities for women, women in ICT, women and wealth, women in leadership, etc.The Acting Executive Mayor Cllr. Monica Mohale addressed the women. “As government, we have a responsibility, through initiatives
such as this seminar, to work together to create a climate that supports new women entrepreneurs to enter the economy. We want to empower you to succeed in business and expose your daughters to your businesses, big or small and mentor them to see the value of starting or running a business”, said Cllr. Mohale.
The seminar was attended by women from various sectors within the business community.
