EXECUTIVE MAYOR EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO LIMPOPO PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONER LT GEN THEMBI HADEBE

Delivering a message of support during the SAPS Stakeholder Engagement and Operations session, the Executive Mayor described Lt Gen Hadebe as a selfless and resilient leader who served the province with distinction.

“We appreciate your selfless attitude. You are a woman of fortitude. When you came here, you loved the people of this province. You respected our traditional leaders and the community at large. You served us well, and we want you to pass our gratitude to your family,” said Cllr Teffo.

“When you came here, you did not have big shoes to fill; you were too big for the shoes. By letting your own light shine, you subconsciously lit the light of many women leaders across the province,” she added.

Speaking on behalf of Moshate wa Kgoshi Kgabo III, Dr Maduma also commended Lt Gen Hadebe for her contribution towards maintaining stability in Limpopo.

“The manner in which you conducted yourself is a source of motivation. You never had to say much; your actions spoke louder than words,” said Dr Maduma.
