Capricorn District Municipality Executive Mayor, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo, attended the Limpopo SAPS Excellence Awards held on 25 June 2026 at Bolivia Lodge, Polokwane, in celebration of the outstanding dedication and service of members of the South African Police Service across Limpopo Province.
The annual Excellence Awards recognise police officers, specialised units, support personnel and community policing initiatives that have demonstrated exceptional commitment, professionalism, integrity and excellence in serving and protecting the people of Limpopo. The awards also celebrate innovation, teamwork and courageous acts that contribute to creating safer communities.
The Executive Mayor joined provincial government leaders, SAPS management, members of the criminal justice cluster, traditional leaders, business representatives and community stakeholders in honouring the men and women in blue whose daily sacrifices help maintain law and order throughout the province.
Cllr Teffo congratulated all the nominees and award recipients, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to fighting crime, protecting vulnerable communities and strengthening public confidence in law enforcement.
