The Executive Mayor of CDM Cllr. John Mpe, Mayor of Molemole Municipality Cllr. Edward Paya and Mayor of Blouberg Municipality Cllr. Solomon Pheedi received sanitiser donations from Global Oil Company.
The donation was received on 09 June 2020 at the head office of Global Oil Company in Rheiland Village under Molemole Municipality. The donations recevied were over 1000 sanitizers and 4 sanitizer stands earmarked to be donated to schools, hospitals and taxi industry.
The sanitisers donated will assist the community in protecting themselves against the spread of Covid19. Speaking during the hand over ceremony, Cllr. John Mpe said that the municipality appreciates the gesture of giving back to the community demonstrated by Global Oil Company in all aspects.
The ceremony was attended by officials from the provincial department of health, CDM, councillors and representatives from Global Oil Company.
