EM receive additional food parcels from Global Oil

The Executive Mayor Cllr John Mpe received more food parcels donations from Global Oil on 20 May 2020 at Rheiland in Molemole Municipality. The company had previously made a donation 5000 food parcels to the District Food Bank. The additional 320 donation will be delivered at the district food bank in Polokwane.

“As the institution we do not have a say as to who get the parcels, we donate to the food bank and officials responsible takes care of the rest. People should know that as an institution our role is limited to donating nothing else”, said Mr Mphosi from Global Oil.

“We have a good working relations with Global Oil and we believe this donations goes a long way to ensure our most needy receive food to put on the table. This is a difficult time for our country and this kind of gestures highlight the extent in which businesses should go to lend a helping hand”, said the Executive Mayor.

The Executive Mayor was accompanied by the Mayor of Molemole Cllr Masilo Paya and Speaker Cllr Mpelege Moreroa, the Mayor of Blouberg Cllr Solomon Pheedi and Chief Whip Cllr Billy Choshi.
