The Executive Mayor Cllr John Mpe joined Capricorn fm in celebrating its 13th year Birthday and do a raffle for the winner of R13000 dedicated to one lucky listener drawn from daily winners of R1300. When called to do the historic raffle on 27 November 2020 at Capricorn fm studios, Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality Cllr John Mpe did not hesitate taking time from his busy schedule to celebrate with Limpopo’s Hottest Frequency as a critical stakeholder of the District Municipality when it comes to information dissemination.
“I’m very happy to be part of Capricorn fm family. This is a brand that we have been with since its inception. At that time it was still a dream and we had to motivate for its initiative as a critical stakeholder. I was then a Manager in Office of the Executive Mayor Cllr Motalane Monakedi. We come a long way with this institution”, said Executive Mayor.
“It was on 26 November 2007 when the first presenter went on air. This has been a difficult year but our listeners have been wonderful even through difficult times”, said Station Manager James Shikwambana.
Executive Mayor congratulated the R13000 raffle winner 31 year old Matthew and all daily winners and that he use the money wisely.
“Congratulations Capricorn fm in this milestone and may you continue to grow bigger”, said Executive Mayor Mpe.
