DWS MINISTERIAL VISIT AT MAFEFE

As we close the Mandela Month, the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) in partnership with CDM and Lepelle Northern Water were in Mafefe to intervene on water-related proposals that the Traditional Council of Mafefe wants to share with the government. The meeting took place on 31 July 2023 at Mafefe Moshate under Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality.

CDM was led by Member of Mayoral Committee for Planning, Cllr MC Masoga who was representing the Executive Mayor. He was accompanying the Deputy Minister of DWS, Mme Tshabalala, Deputy Minister of Cogta, Mr Ncamashe, Kgosi Setlamorago the First and II, and other members of water users.

Part of the activities were cleaning of Mohlapitsi River and a visit to Kgalema high school to donate drilling of a borehole.
