Capricorn District Municipality will hold the International Day for Disaster Reduction on 23 October 2019 at Ben Seraki Stadium, Sekediding in Blouberg Local Municipality at 10h00.
The event will be held under the theme ‘Adapting to extremes and limiting disaster loss: Pathways to integrated resilience and sustainability for basic services, critical infrastructure, and thriving communities’.
The IDDR aim to raise awareness and promote Disaster Risk Reduction programs in line with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR).
