On 30 January 2026, as part of the Batho Pele Programme, Capricorn District Municipality, together with various stakeholders, took essential services directly to the community of Langlagte Village in Blouberg Local Municipality today.
Services provided included ID and birth certificate registrations, voter education, social and financial services, fire safety awareness, and water preservation initiatives.
Community members were also encouraged to make use of the CDM Customer Service App – CDM Talk, an important platform for reporting service delivery queries, faults, and complaints across the district. The app enables quicker response times and improved communication between residents and the municipality.
Participating institutions included the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Social Development Limpopo – DSD, South African Police Service, Eskom, Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC), Limpopo Gambling Board, CDM Fire and Rescue Services, Government Communication and Information Services (GCIS), Absa, Metropolitan, Phuti Funeral Services, and CDM Operations and Maintenance.
