CDM continues to give support to learners who participated in the International Eskom Science Fair
Capricorn District Municipality in partnership with Eskom Expo for Young Scientists took 20 learners from within the district to participate in the annual International Science Fair for Young Scientists that was held from the 3rd to the 6th October 2017 at Birchwood Hotel, Boksburg.
The delegation performed outstandingly well and won the following accolades;
Five Special awards which includes bursary to the value of R50 000, laptops, tablets, trip to national science week expo to be held at all Port Elizabeth and cash prizes.
. Two highly commendable projects
. Four Bronze medals
. Five Silver medals
. One Gold medal
. One Eskom category award
. One candidate for international awards.
Road Safety Debate
While on road safety debate, Northern Cape is through to the finals. The final battle is now between Limpopo & Northern Cape. Cdm wishes our learners all the best. May they bring the prize to home – Limpopo
The National Road Safety Strategy is a necessity for road safety in South Africa. Team Limpopo proposing and Northern Cape is opposing.
