Moletjie Thusong Service Center under Polokwane received a Thusong Service National Award as an Outstanding Thusong Satellite during the Thusong Service week that took place in Bloemfontein last night.The awards also considered the District Coordinator, Ms Gelocia Mamabolo for her outstanding support to all Thusongs at Capricorn District Municipality.
Thusong Service Week are held annually to recognise municipalities and coordinators that are outstanding in taking care of Thusong Service Centres.
CDM coordinates six Thusong Service Centres in Eldorado-Blouberg. Botlokwa and Festus Mothudi-Molemole, Moletje-Polokwane and Mafefe and Moletlane Lepelle Nkumpi.
The awards for National Winners for Thusong Service Centers were as follows:
– Outstanding District Coordinator – Gelocia Mamabolo – Capricorn District.
– Most Improved Thusong Service Center – Peter Monaiwa from Mokwakwaila
– Outstanding Center Manager – Peter Monaiwa Mokwakwaila.
– Outstanding Thusong Satellite – Moletji Thusong Center.
