CDM HOSTS COMMUNITY SAFETY FORUM ENGAGEMENT AT MASHITE

The session aimed to empower residents by educating them on the work, services, and programmes of various government sector departments.

Stakeholders present included the Community Policing Forum, Department of Education, Department of Transport and Community Safety, Limpopo Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (LEDET), Department of Social Development, CDM Disaster Management, CDM Fire and Rescue, CDM Environmental Health, Department of Health, Department of Correctional Services, Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Department of Water and Sanitation, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), South African Police Service (SAPS), the Traditional Healers Organisation, and the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA).

The engagement reinforced the importance of collaboration between communities and government in enhancing safety, service delivery, and community well-being.
