In an effort to ensure that we become a more inclusive society towards people with disabilities, Capricorn District Municipality hosted an event to create awareness on the rights of differently-abled people. Held on 29 November 2024, the awareness emphasized on the effort to improve the quality of life of people living with disability.Different stakeholders were present to encourage and give support to this special group. These are stakeholders such SASSA, Department of Social Development, Limpopo Provincial Treasury, Capricorn Disability Forum, Vhutsila Disability Project and other important stakeholders.
The event was held at Nirvana Community Hall.
