The Local Economic Development commenced with a three day CDM Tourism Exhibition Fair at Savannah Mall in Polokwane. The exhibition fair offers information on the tourism attractions icons and related activities available within the Capricorn District and the Limpopo Province at large.
“We appeal to shoppers to come and visit our exhibition stalls, see and support the tourism, arts and culture products offered by various Small Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMME)in the district”, said Sello Maebela from CDM LED unit.
This is part of the Municipality’s annual program aimed to support the revival of the local economy. “Our SMMEs are highly affected by Covid-19 we hope this assist them to revive their operations”, said Maebela.
The exhibition is organized in partnership with local municipalities (Blouberg., Lepelle-Nkumpi, Molemole and Polokwane), Limpopo Tourism Agency and Tourism Industry.
