CDM hold a successful virtual council imbizo through community radios

Capricorn District Municipality held a successful virtual Council Imbizo through seven community radio stations in the district. The council imbizo programme was held on 30 June 2021 and was the last one to for the financial year 2020/2021.

The simulcast broadcast of council Imbizo afforded the community an opportunity to speak directly with their leaders and raise service delivery challenges. The council Imbizo program was live on the community radio stations namely Energy, Mohodi, Turf, Botlokwa, Zebediela, Moletsi and Tshepo fm.

The session was also live on Capricorn District Municipality Facebook page. The session was spearheaded by Council Speaker Cllr Maite Mohale. The community members were participating through open lines. The responding session was led by Cll John Mpe with the Mayor of Blouberg Cllr Maseka Pheedi, Cllr Charles Molepo representing the Mayor of Polokwane Municipality Cllr Thembi Nkadimeng and Cllr Zebulon Mphofela representing the Mayor of Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipality Cllr Meriam Molala.
