The Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo and Municipal Manager Ramakuntwane Selepe congratulated Team Capricorn for their sterling performance at the 2022 Inter-departmental games held at South African National Defense Force in Polokwane Gateway International Airport on 17 August 2022.
“We are proud of you for and we will continue to support this wellness programme. We are fully behind you,” said Executive Mayor. She said this to EAP and Sport Committee as they were presenting to her, the medals won at the tournament.
The games are held annually as part of the Employees Wellness programs across government departments, municipalities and parastatals. Netball, darts, and pool were all presented with silver medals taking positions 2, volleyball took position three and soccer won a game it was eliminated at group stages. Although there is room for improvement, the games boosted the players morale.
Well done Team Capricorn.
