The Executive Mayor of CDM Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo joined the Premier of Limpopo, Dr. Phophi Ramathuba, and MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Tony Rachoene, as the Premier officially unveiled 251 newly procured yellow fleet of heavy earthmoving machinery, for the province. This happened at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, in Polokwane on 09 December 2024.This new fleet will augment the existing machinery and accelerate the #DikgerekgereWednesdays service delivery initiative, which focuses on blasting gravel roads, regraveling, and clearing road reserves.
This significant investment will enable faster and more efficient maintenance of both paved and unpaved roads, improving travel comfort for road users across the province.
