On 22 November 2025, Capricorn District Municipality (CDM) employees proudly participated in the friendly municipal games held on Saturday, 22 November, at the Ngoako Ramatlhodi Sports Complex in Seshego. The event brought together employees from various municipalities as part of an Employee Wellness and Support Programme aimed at fostering teamwork, healthy living, and intergovernmental camaraderie.CDM teams delivered an impressive performance across several sporting codes, dominating most of the activities of the day. In Volleyball, Netball, and Pool, CDM clinched first position, showcasing exceptional teamwork and sporting excellence. Although the Soccer team could not progress beyond the group stages, they demonstrated strong effort and commitment throughout their matches.
The Darts team secured a commendable second position, adding to the districtβs proud achievements. Unfortunately, the Table Tennis match could not take place due to the unavailability of a playing table.
Overall, the friendly games reflected great sportsmanship, unity, and the commitment of CDM employees to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. CDM remains committed to supporting employee wellness and encouraging participation in recreational and developmental activities.
