AS municipalities are now nearing the end of the current council term and gearing up for the new one, Capricorn District Municipality has embarked on a Mayoral Retreat programme to identify a special suite of capital and community upliftment programmes to achieve socio-economic development and prosperity for communities in the district.
To bring this to life, executive management met with mayoral committee to carve and prioritise programmes that will consolidate CDM’s service delivery accomplishments ahead of local government elections and prepare for the new council term. Drawn from the SDBIP, presentations were made on proposed programmes with clear reviewed timeframes.
Mayoral committee will process and evaluate the programmes before approving them by Friday.
