Position 3 in rural went to Waterberg whereas in Urban Position 2 and 3 went to Vhembe and Sekhukhune respectively.
The top three winners in each category will proceed to represent Limpopo Province in the national competition in Bloemfontein later in the year. Acting Executive Mayor Cllr Mahlatji congratulated Capricorn for the outstanding performance in the debate.
The Acting Executive Mayor Cllr Solly Mahlatji joined the MEC for Transport and Community Safety Mme Violet Mathye for the 2024 Provincial Road Safety Debate & Participatory Educational Techniques (PET) Prize Giving Ceremony at The Ranch Protea Hotel outside Polokwane on 25 August 2024 .
Learners presented their final debate arguments on road safety to the panel of judges, the MEC Mathye, Acting Executive Mayor Mahlatji, Provincial Commissioner Thembi Radebe and other dignitaries. With an audience of over 150 people, the learners ensured that their final debate arguments were indeed highly researched and perfectly executed.
