Premier Honours Law Enforcement at Limpopo Excellence Awards

“The headlines remind us every day of the challenges you face,” said the Premier. “These awards are a clarion call — a reminder that the safety of our communities rests in your hands. Your dedication and sacrifices are not in vain.”

The ceremony was graced by His Grace Bishop Dr Engenas Joseph Lekganyane of the St. Engenas Zion Christian Church (ZCC) and members of the Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders led by Kgoshi Rammupudu II. The Premier praised their presence and highlighted the importance of partnerships with traditional and religious leaders in combating crime.

“Without the support of our magoshi and faith leaders, we cannot win this fight,” the Premier said. “Criminals often hide in rural areas — we must work together to protect our people.”

The Premier concluded by commending officers for their hard work, which has led to numerous successful prosecutions, and encouraged continued collaboration across all sectors to build a safer, united Limpopo. The awards took place on 10 October 2025.
