The Member of Mayoral Committee Cllr Caroline Mamabolo congratulated the newly elected South African Network for Women in Transport (SANWIT). “You now bear the responsibility of representing and advancing the aspirations of women throughout the transport ecosystem,” said Cllr Mamabolo. “May you lead with vision, inclusivity, and unwavering purpose,” added Mamabolo.The Deputy Minister of Transport Nkhuleko Hlengwa reminded the women in the transport fraternity that they have a pivotal role to build legacies within the sector. The committee was elected today during the official launch of the SANWIT Limpopo Province held at The Ranch Hotel outside Polokwane.
Member of the Mayoral Committee responsible for Local Economic Development (LED) Cllr Caroline Mamabolo joined the Deputy Minister of National Department of Transport Nkhuleko Hlengwa and MEC for Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety Mme Violet Mathye at the SANWIT launch and elections of the new Limpopo Committee that took place at The Ranch Hotel outside Polokwane. The launch was part of celebrating October as the National Transport Month. MMC Mamabolo represented the Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo.
