MANDELA MONTH CLOSED IN STYLE

“As we complete the month of July, the month of our icon, the late President Mandela, we continued focusing on Early Childhood Education (ECD). We started at Lebeko Crèche at Mohodi GaMadikana in Molemole Local Municipality. We have been able to assist creche’s that we have identified with toys, cooking utensils, blankets, stones, stationary, etc and that include this creche of CP Semenya”.

Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi said.Executive Mayor visited the creche at Ga-Semenya in Polokwane Local Municipality to hand over gifts as part of her 67 minutes for Mandela Day. Parents and their kids came in numbers to welcome the gesture presented by the Executive Mayor. She emphasized the need to educate kids at an early age.

“These will be the leaders of tomorrow. We need to educate them and also expose them to educational materials” she said.She urged parents and community members to take care of the gifts presented. The creche has 79 kids. “I’m so excited and want to thank the Executive Mayor for considering our creche as part of Mandela Day” said the Principal, Mrs Makgokgoma.
