“The traditional leaders welcome the budget speech of the Capricorn District Municipality as presented by the Executive Mayor Cllr John Mpe”, this was said by Kgoshi Malebogo, the Chairperson of the Capricorn District House of Traditional leaders during a virtual council meeting held on 22 June 2020.
“The budget has touched on all aspects of concern which we have raised of service delivery issues in our communities. We are happy that the Executive Mayor highlighted the need to put more budget allocation towards sanitation and water provision. We appreciate all the effort of the municipality to take services to the people”, said Kgoshi Malebogo.
Kgoshi Malebogo concluded by extended words of appreciation to the municipality for having obtained a clean audit and congratulated the municipality for the hard work and determination shown.
