In a warm and dignified royal welcome, Mmakgoshi Mmanare Moloto, on behalf of Kgoshi Kgabo III, received the Speaker of the Limpopo Legislature, Dr Makoma Makhurupetje, and her delegation at the Royal Bahlaloga House at Moletsi Moshate on 02 September 2026.
The royal engagement formed part of Day Two of the Taking the Legislature to the People (TLTTP) Programme, which was held in Blouberg Local Municipality from 31 August to 03 September 2026.
Kgoshi Kgabo III, who served as Chairperson of the Capricorn District House of Traditional Leaders, played an important role in championing collaboration between Traditional Leadership, government and communities. The team started the visit at Ga-Matlala Moshate.
The Capricorn District had 28 Traditional Leadership authorities, who remained key stakeholders in the development and governance of the District through their participation in processes such as the Integrated Development Planning (IDP).
The engagements provided an important platform for dialogue between the Legislature and Traditional Leadership on issues affecting communities, development and service delivery.
The TLTTP Programme was held under the theme, “Deepening public participation to advance development and accountability in Blouberg Local Municipality.”
