CDM’s Executive Mayor Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo hand over school uniforms to sixteen learners at Rethuseng Special School at Pinkie Sebotse on 04 November 2022. She also assisted with a water tanker to deal with water supply in the school.The Executive Mayor visited the school in the beginning of this year during the back to school campaign and promised that she will come back to assist the school with some of their challenges.
These are learners from poor family background. The school have just over one hundred learners. Speaking during the handing over ceremony Cllr Teffo said, ” I am happy to be back here to fullfil the promise I made during back to school campaign, I urge you to continue to listen to the educators”. She also thanked the school officials for looking after the learners.
The school Principal Joniphus Chipu said that he was happy and honored that the Executive Mayor went all out and managed to get the learners school uniform.
Cllr. Teffo was with Blouberg Municipality’s Mayor Cllr. Maria Thamaga, ward councilor and ward committees.
