In celebration of Childrenβs Rights and Responsibilities, the Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo is leading the official launch of Kgafela Sebelebele Foundation and the opening of Pudutjie Primary School Library at Ga-Matlala Ga-Manamela under Polokwane Municipality on 24 July 2025. She was joined by Kgoshigadi Matlala and her traditional council.βThe launch comes at the right time when we celebrate a selfless leader who loved and had passion for children and education β said Executive Mayor Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo at the official opening of Pudutjie Primary School Library and launch of Kgafela Sebelebele Foundation at Ga-Matlala.
Speaking to the Community, Kgoshigadi Matlala thanked Capricorn District Municipality, Kgafela Sebelebele Foundation, Room to read organization, the Department of Education and other stakeholders for supporting the children and donating books. She added, βwe encourage you to continue doing more in the future, so that our children may continue to get best educationβ.

The man named after this Foundation was indeed a true selfless community leader who dedicated his life to helping his community of Ga-Matlala and beyond,β said Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo.
She added that the launch of a school library is indeed a great investment towards building an informed community. The launch included handing over of school uniforms, shoes and sanitary towels.
