SALGA CELEBRATE WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP

As South Africa marks Women’s Month, the spotlight shines brightly on nine dynamic women who are setting the standard in local governance through excellence, accountability, and visionary leadership. Among them is Cllr Mamedupi Teffo, the Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality, whose commitment to clean governance has once again been confirmed through a clean audit outcome.

In a powerful statement shared by the South African Local Government Association (SALGA), the recognition celebrates women leaders who are transforming local government into a space of integrity, service delivery, and financial prudence.
