On Tuesday, Municipal Public Accounts Committee visited three water projects at Ga-Ntamatisi, Bolahlakgomo and Volop in Zebediela under Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality.
The visit commenced with Ntamatisi WSIG project located at Ga-Ntamatisi. The construction of the project is 100% complete and is currently waiting for Eskom to energize before final project handover. The R5,8 million project commenced in 2019 and was completed in 2022.
The committee proceeded to Bolahlakgomo Village Water Supply at Bolahlakgomo. The R10,2 million project started in 2020 and was completed in June 2022. The project is 100% complete.
The last stop was at Volop Village to see Volop Village Water Supply project. The R10,3 million project started in 2020 and was completed in 2022. The project is also 100% complete. In all the projects, the community has access to water.
