On the 24th CDM imbarked on the project visit at Slaaphoek. The visit is park of monitoring Progress on projects and is led by Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) where they visited Slaaphoek Water Supply project.
The project is not yet complete. Poor performance and workmanship by the contractor led to termination of the contract in August 2017. The municipality is in the process of appointing term contractors whom will be used to complete the outstanding scope of work. Monitoring and evaluation is on.
