The Executive Mayor, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo, led the municipal leadership team in responding to the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) during a public hearing on the 2nd Quarter/Mid-Year Organisational Performance Report for the 2025/2026 financial year.The session, chaired by MPAC Chairperson Cllr Lisbeth Mothata, is held in terms of Section 44 of the Municipal Finance Management Act (Act 32 of 2000) and forms part of the municipality’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and good governance.
The hearing provides a platform for the municipality to account for its performance, respond to issues raised, and outline progress made in delivering services to communities.
The Speaker of Council Cllr Kholofelo Lehong attended the proceedings. The session was also attended by Members of the Mayoral Committee and Chairpersons of other Council Committees. The hearing was held on 10 March 2026.
