On 05 December 2025, the Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Cllr Maimela Daniel Modiba of Ward 34 in Polokwane Municipality at Ga-Kgole Village in Ga-Mamabolo outside Polokwane.
During a family visit, the Executive Mayor expressed deep sorrow over his passing, noting that Cllr Modiba was not only a dedicated leader but also a committed advocate who tirelessly fought for service delivery in his community. โWe are deeply saddened by his departure. He was a true servant of the people,โ she said.
Cllr Modiba will be laid to rest on 06 December 2025 at Ga-Kgole Village, Ga-Mamabolo. The Executive Mayor was accompanied by councillors from Polokwane Municipality to support the bereaved family.
