The Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo, has called on communities, parents, and stakeholders to rally behind the Matric Class of 2025 as they begin their final examinations next week.Cllr Teffo made this call while signing the 2025 Matric Pledge on behalf of the people of Capricorn District Municipality, reaffirming the district’s commitment to the success and well-being of its learners. The 2025 Matric Pledge Signing Ceremony, led by MEC for Education, Ms. Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, brought together more than 1,100 matriculants from 17 schools across the Capricorn North District.
Learners collectively pledged to uphold values of discipline, dedication, and excellence as they prepare to tackle their final exams and make their schools and communities proud. Signing of the pledge took place on 17 October 2025.
