The Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality (CDM), Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo, has expressed gratitude to the people of the district for their strong attendance at the Heritage Month Outreach event hosted by Minister of Small Business Development, Stella Ndabeni, at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane om 29 September 2025.Cllr. Teffo encouraged communities to continue celebrating and preserving their heritage while also supporting small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) as a driving force for local economic growth.
The event placed emphasis on combating counterfeiting and piracy in the creative industries, while also showcasing township and rural innovation. It further marked an important milestone in advancing the Women’s Entrepreneurship Fund, aimed at empowering women-led enterprises across the country.
