Executive Mayor’s Easter Message

Capricorn District Municipality takes this opportunity to wish you a happy Easter weekend.

Although we cannot converge at various places of worship because of the nation-wide lockdown, let us spend this sacred period to garner strength for the defeat of Covid-19 and preserve the lives of those who are battling to survive this pandemic – the same way Christ defeated death to resurrect hope for those in despair; and whose sacrifice raised the fallen from turmoil. As a district, we look forward to a drastic reduction in the devastating effects that this pandemic is having on the wellbeing of you all.
