The Executive Mayor, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo has joined the MEC of Health, Mashego Dieketseng Masesi, who is representing the Premier of Limpopo, Dr Phophi Ramathuba at the 9th Anniversary Dinner of Thalitha Koum. The dinner organised to celebrate the 9th anniversary of Thalitha Koum was also attended by the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Thembi Nkadimeng- Semelane.Thalitha Koum patriot Onicca Moloi had a dream to establish a movement to empower young women to achieve their dreams. It was a dream to inspire young women to overcome obstacles. The gathering reflected on the journey of dispensing ubuntu so women can reach their full potential.
The Executive Mayor acknowledged the formidable successes of the movement, as a movement that has invested in future leaders and change-makers who will shape the world for the better.
“We therefore commend you the Patron for rolling down the ladder for young women to climb. We commend you for this mission to uplift young women, offering them opportunities to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond,” said the Executive Mayor.
