
Expressing pride in their achievements, the Executive Mayor said, “The most important thing is that when we spoke to you last year, you listened; you are here today because you have shown great discipline and drive.”
Nare Senior Secondary School has achieved 94.4% in 2024 from 89.8% in 2023 which is an improvement of 4.6%. Learners who performed well were given laptops and a cash prize as their sentiments for their hard work.
The Top 5 performers each received a laptop and 1st – Position – R10 000, 2nd – R6000, 3rd – R4000, 4th – R3000, 5th – R2000 and all other top learners also received laptops.
The Executive Mayor appreciated the commitment shown by the principal, educators, learners and all parents including the circuit manager. “Our school is counted amongst the best, class of 2025, we look forward to 100% pass,” said Executive Mayor.
The award ceremony was also attended by the Circuit Manager Ms Khosa, MMC for SEMS Cllr Solly Mahlatji and Moshate wa Moletsi.
