The Limpopo Department of Education MEC Polly Boshielo together with the General Manager of MTN in Limpopo Kagiso Moche handed over 100 electronic tablets and over 200 face masks to students at Derek Kobe Secondary School at Lebowakgomo on 17 September 2020.
Boshielo called on the learners to use their tablets responsibly. She also touched on the issue of Gender Based Violence that it is a worring issue. She called on learners toΒ look after themselves and prioritise education.
The President of the Representative Council of Learners, Lerato Morallane thanked the department and MTN for their gesture.
The event was also attended by Cllr Jara Masubelele representing CDM Executive Mayor, Mayor of Lepelle Nkumpi Cllr Merriam Molala, representative from Education and Educators.
