DCC calls on leaders to lead vaccination drive

The Capricorn District Command Council has urged community leaders to lead by example and get vaccinated.
This comes a week after vaccination programme for people aged 35 and older got underway in the midst of a third wave. This is also after government achieved a huge feat in vaccinating thousands of healthcare workers, elderly people aged over 60 years and educators in the past four months.
The DCC calls on traditional leaders, religious leaders and councillors to be seen getting the jab in order to encourage the public to get vaccinated against Covid-19. Kgoshi Maleboho said he was pleased with the increase of vaccination sites in rural areas.
The DCC is this week embarking on a vaccination outreach across the district to encourage people to get vaccinated.
