CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS BABIES AT ZEBEDIELA AND MANKWENG HOSPITAL

Capricorn District Municipality wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year together with the new mothers at Zebediela Hospital in Lepelle Nkumpi Local Municipality and Mankweng Hospital in Polokwane Local Municipality respectively. The Executive Mayor Cllr Mamedupi Teffo joined the LIMPOPO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (BOPHELONG) MEC Dieketseng Mashego to welcome and celebrate babies born on Christmas day.
The Executive Mayor and MEC presented gift hampers to new mothers and their babies, appreciating the gift of life on a special day celebrated by Christians across the globe.
“These are our future leaders, please take care of them dearly. We thank the staff for the good work ou do here at the hospital. Enjoy your Christmas day and also the new year. Every child is a blessing. Merry Christmas”. MEC Mashego.
The first three babies were all girls born at 01h24 to a 23 yrs old mother, 04h25 to a 32 years old and 05h40 to a 22 years old mother. At Mankweng Hospital the 1st Christmas baby (boy) was born at 00:35 to a 41 year old, 2nd baby (boy) was born at 03:20 to a 42 year old. 3rd baby (girl) born at 04:43 to a 23 year old. 4th baby (girl) was born at 6:11 to a 27 year old.
Being born on Christmas is one of the rare birthdays in a year. Children born on Christmas get to celebrate their birthday, with the birth of Christ. With these babies the fact that they are Capricorns (Zodiac Sign), and they are born in Capricorn District Municipality makes them even more special to the district.
