Capricorn District Municipality wrapped-up the Gender Based Violence and HAST Awareness Campaigns at Capricorn TVET College Ramokgopa Campus at Botlokwa in Molemole Local Municipality.
As part of the awareness campaign, Limpopo Champion Men Mentors led the men talk speaking to young men in groups at the campus. “We are speaking to you in this groups because we want to get your understanding of GBV and its impact in our lives in a broader perspective”, said Khomotso Komape.
The campaign also focused on issues of HIV/Aids counselling and testing, Covid-19 screening, Gender Based Violence, TB, STIs, teenage pregnancy, family planning etc. The awareness campaigns were organized in partnership with Department of Health, Anova, CHOICE, SANCA, CPC, etc.
